It's been more than a month than I last posted! And yet I don't have that much to update on...
My parents took a trip to vegas this month. They take trips out there semi regularly, maybe annually, so it wasn't out of the ordinary. I took care of the dogs while they were gone, just feeding and watering them and letting them out. Again, nothing crazy.
But since they were out of the house, I got to host a crazy party with all of my dozens of friends! Shit went haywire! Someone broke the pool table in half! The cops were called!!! Someone stole irreplaceable antique photos of my grandmother!!1!!11!!!
... all jokes aside, I used their shower because it's a lot nicer than mine. And I got to order some food and watch Youtube on the TV downstairs. Very eventful. I also played the new Tomodachi life. Lots happening, folks.
I also started my new job this past saturday! I'm a lot less worried about it and have been since my training early this month when they told me more about what I'm actually meant to be doing. It's something I'm familiar with already from school— band competitions. I get to wrangle middle school band kids from one place to another. Both easy and stressful. The kids are the easy part. The timing of it all is the painful part!
Wasn't that terrible this past saturday, though. All things considered, it went alright. Some hiccups, obviously, but it wasn't too terribly bad. I've been around a few of the people I'm working with now before, and they're all super sweet.
I met up with my "consultant" (old music teacher/consultant for my compositions and art stuff) that I hadn't seen in years, too, this past week. I was a little nervous about that— I get nervous about practically every form of social interaction— but it went really well! I think about her from time to time, and it was nice to sit down and talk for a little while about everything that's been going on between the two of us.
...Thinking about it, I should send her this site... I think she'd be interested in it! It's something I'm relatively proud of, anyhow.
I don't have much else to discuss here. Uhhh... my partner passed their portfolio review! Which was important! So they can start taking the classes more specific to their major this upcoming year! Hooray!
I think that's about it. If I missed anything, I'll shove it into a little "PS: i forgot so and so happened" at the bottom of this entry.
